Sauternes is one of our favourite sweet wines, which comes from the Graves region in Bordeaux and is made with Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle grapes. What makes it so special is a natural process called noble rot (Botrytis cinerea), which concentrates the sugars and gives the wine its rich, honeyed flavour.

Expect notes of apricot, citrus peel, honey, and a beautiful golden colour. It’s a wonderful match with desserts, cheeses, or even just enjoyed slowly on its own.
