Lower in range than Quinta do Noval, this vintage nevertheless has a balanced structure, ripe fruit, and floral aromas. 

It also reveals an elegant profile with firm tannins. 

Good acidity and medium structure.

Serving Suggestions: The wine benefits from being served slightly chilled, between 12º-16ºC. 

The bottle should be kept upright, protected from light and at a cool and constant temperature. 

Food Pairing: 1998 Silval Vintage Port pairs well with strong, creamy, and fatty cheeses like Stilton or Gorgonzola, as well as desserts featuring dark chocolate, eggs, nuts, or rich fruit preserves.
