Pêra-Manca is the brand that the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation designates for its exceptional wines. This wine is a distinguished full-bodied white wine, with a lot of class. Brilliant, deep straw-yellow colour with green sparkle.
Lusciously rich nose that goes in all directions, with white flowers at the start, ripe white fruit, such as conference and quince, nispero, ripe apricot and dried Mediterranean herbs, also a touch of royal jelly, and fennel.
Broad, yet elegant and mouth-filling texture, with perfectly defined acids and ripe fruits that accentuate the creaminess.
Serving Suggestions: Serve ideally at 10º-12ºC.
Gastronomic Suggestion: Pêra-Manca white wine pairs well with seafood, grilled fish and cod, as well as white meats like chicken or poultry. Its complexity also makes it suitable for aged hard cheeses and can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif. Also, dishes with creamy sauces, or those featuring citrus and olive oil, such as grilled prawns, complement the wine's acidity and fruity notes.
