Vinha das Romãs is the result of a story that began in 2002 when a pomegranate orchard was planted with a vineyard. Over the years, the vine took root and produced a wine with a very unique structure. It was only when we studied the soil in detail that we discovered the source of so much personality and texture. The roots of the new Vinha das Romãs were intertwined with those of the pomegranate trees that remained there, enriching the soil. What remained of the pomegranate roots made this vineyard unique.

Serving Suggestions: Serve at a temperature between 16º-17ºC

Food Pairing: The Ravasqueira Vinha das Romãs red is a structured, rich, and complex Portuguese red wine, perfect for pairing with various red meat dishes such as roast beef, grilled meats, and beef tenderloin. Given its intensity and complexity, decanting it before serving is recommended.
