This wine comes from vineyards planted in Quinta da Pacheca with 50 to 60 years old vines, and from Vila Nova de Foz Côa with 25 year old vines. 

Colour: Intense ruby-coloured red wine.

Aroma: The aroma is fruity (cherry, blackberry) with spicy notes from the wood. Very elegant.

It is intense, with great volume. Tannins present, but well integrated. Good length in the mouth.

Serving Suggestions: Serve between 14º-16ºC 

Food Pairing: Goes well with red meat dishes. Roast lamb or Portuguese stew, and soft cheeses.
