Callabriga is a deep ruby colour. This wine has an aroma of good complexity, which reveals prominent components of red, and wild fruit, alongside with hints of asparagus, and artichoke, undertones of truffle, and forest floor, and additional notes of dried fruits, such as almonds, hazelnuts, and figs. An aroma of incredibly well-integrated high-quality wood is also present. 

This wine is lively on the palate, with a balanced acidity, tannins of excellent quality and a long harmonious finish.

Serving Suggestions: Serve between 14º-16ºC 

Food Pairing: Callabriga red is an intense Douro red wine that pairs well with red meat, game, roasted meats, and fatty fish, grilled lamb chops, or beef Wellington.
